Iberian Coppers Lda has a Data Protection Officer (EPD) who: (i) provides information and advises the controller or subcontractor of their obligations regarding privacy and data protection; (ii) controls the compliance of data processing with applicable standards; (iii) advises, when requested, on the impact assessment on data protection and controls its implementation; (iv) is a source of contact with the holder of personal data to clarify issues related to the handling of data by Iberian Coppers Lda; and (v) is the contact source for the control authority (National Commission on Data Protection - CNPD) on treatment-related issues, cooperating with this entity.

5. Treatment of personal data, scope and amendment of the Privacy Policy.

By providing the personal data to Iberian Coppers Lda, the holder of personal data will consent the processing of personal data in accordance with this Privacy Policy and with the rules and principles contained in the Terms and Conditions.

10. For what purposes does Iberian Coppers Lda treat your personal data?

Our company only uses your personal data (name, e-mail address and message text) at your request. Data processing is used only with the purpose of contacting you. When you send your message, you are agreeing to the processing of the transmitted data. The processing will be done with your consent based on art. 6 (1) lit. of the GDPR. At any time, you can withdraw your consent, you just need to contact us. We keep the data up to exclusion request or except tax data based on current legislation.

11. When and how do we collect your personal data?

When you create your customer account, we store your personal data as it is provided. Data processing aims to improve your buying experience and simplify order processing. The processing will be carried out founded on art. 6 (1) lit. of the GDPR based on their consent. This consent can be withdrawn at any time, you just need to get in touch with us. Your personal data may only be removed after the conclusion of the entire order process.

12. What is the basis for the processing of your personal data?

When the customer places an order, we only store the personal data which is necessary to process the order. The provision of personal data is necessary for the conclusion of the purchase contract, once your purchase becomes effective at the time the invoice is issued. The processing of such assigned data for the issuance of the invoice will take place based on art. 6 (1) lit. b of the GDPR and becomes indispensable for the completion of your purchase process. These data will not be shared unless you have explicit consent, except to the partners required to complete the purchase agreement. We will strictly fulfil with the legal requirements for all cases. The processing of personal data will be minimal.

13. For how long does Iberian Coppers Lda treat and retain your personal data?

Iberian Coppers Lda treats and maintains your personal data as necessary and only for the appropriate period to comply with them, and always in accordance with the law, guidelines and decisions of the CNPD or, as applicable, until you exercise your right of opposition, right to be forgotten or withdraw consent.
There are situations in which the law determines the holding of data for a minimum period of time, specifically: for six months, traffic data, metadata and location for the investigation, detection and prosecution of serious crimes or for the time required by the Tax Authority.

After the expiration of the respective period of conservation, Iberian Coppers Lda will eliminate or anonymize the data when they are not to be kept for a different purpose that may be maintained.

14. Rights of the holder of personal data

The holder of personal data has rights to information, access and rectification or erasure of personal data, the right to portability of data, the right to limit or oppose the processing of their data, under the scope and the terms of the GDPR and other applicable legislation.

The holder may withdraw, at any time, the consent that he has given for the processing of his personal data, within the context of the GDPR. The revocation of the consent will not affect the legality of the processing of the personal data that has been done until then, based on the consent that has been previously provided.
