There was no need for a condensing recipient as the distiller used a fresh water stream to cool the copper coils. Made with excellent craftsmanship. All items have been perfectly polished and have a very high quality glossy finish that will last for years. Copper pot has a hammered finish and riveted unions, the traditional manner in which the various sections of the pot were assembled before welding became available. The complete unit is assembled on a wooden base and includes a miniature copper cup and heating system (tea light). An excellent item to decorate any wine cellar, bookcase shelf or to offer as a unique gift.
