Root Rise Farm Apothecary

"Root, Rise. Farm and Apothecary is a seed to bottle plant based skincare line, located on the coast of rural Northern California. Every herb I use in my products, I, Jess, grow on my farm! Most plants are annuals and started in our greenhouse in late spring, then transplanted into our field once the soil temperatures are warm enough. Once harvesting begins, I distill fresh plants into amazing hydrosols and dry others to create face serums, face masks, creams, bath salts and more! I've recently been bitten by the natural dye bug and have been playing with Japanese indigo and marigolds that I also grow. As my farm and apothecary grows I envision having a couple of copper stills to preserve the abundance of Summer. Distilling has quickly become something I really love to do and share!"
