0,7 L Alembic Replica of Charentais Shape & Wood Base
Medium sized replica of a Charentais alembic, a distilling apparatus used in the region of Charente in France to distill white wine after the harvest season.

This French alembic distilling system has an Aladdin’s lamp shaped pot located between the copper pot and the condenser to pre-heat the second batch wine and thus shorten distilling time. Excellent craftsmanship, all items have been perfectly polished and have a very high quality glossy finish that will last for years. Copper pot and condensing recipient have a hammered finish which resembles a riveted union construction that is still used today in our functional models. The complete unit is assembled on a wooden base and includes a miniature copper cup and a miniature heating system (tea light). An excellent item to decorate any wine cellar, bookcase, etc. A unique gift for anyone.
This model is also available as a totally functional still. Please see our Small Distilling Units section.
