From June's first distillation of the season:
"Today was our first lavender distillation of the season. Using 30 lbs of lavender, we anticipate the final result to be about 3 gallons of hydrosol and 1 lb of oil. We harvest and distill all summer to obtain ingredients used in our artisan lavender product line."
