"Meadow Valley Botanicals was created and is driven by a passion and love for sustainable living as well as a desire to create health and wellness through plant medicine and natural products. We are nestled in the Northern Sierras of California surrounded by a million acres of National Forest. Our small heard of mini-lamancha goats provide rich and creamy milk for our handcrafted soaps and lotions. Our gardens are carefully tended and produce a variety of botanicals that we use to create our unique products. What is not grown on the land is respectfully and sustainably wildcrafted from the surrounding forest. We seek to create beauty & harmony through care of the land and self love~ My name is Wendy, I am an herbalist, small business owner, farmer, and mother. I have been a student of plants for the last 25 years. I have always been fascinated by the ancient practice of Alchemy. My Alembic still is the newest addition to my herbal toolkit and has opened up a whole new way of working with the plants and deepened my relationship to them. I am in awe of the synergy that is created with the plants, water, fire and the meditative state that I am drawn into during the distillation process- it is truly as distillation of self as I connect to the spirit of the plants and all the elements that sustain life. I feel that the addition of home distilled hydrosols to my products has upped the level of quality helping me to create an exceptional natural skin care line that I am proud to share!
